Historic Broetje House

B&B's Description

Enjoy the romantic ambience this magnificent turn-of-the-century Queen Anne "style" bed and breakfast has to offer. The home was built in 1889 by John F. Broetje noted horticulturist and floriculturist. The house's unique four-story, fifty-foot high water tower, added in 1909 was Clackamas County's first bonded winery and one of the first five wineries in the State of Oregon after the Great Depression.

Whether you are part of a group planning a special occasion, a business person requiring rejuvenating solitude, a romantic couple planning your wedding or anniversary party, someone simply seeking the privacy and intimacy of a hide-away, or a tourist wanting the friendly environment and hospitality of a truly unique home; you will find the elegance of the Broetje House a truly classic experience.

Stroll through over an acre of scenic grounds supporting more than 100 flowering shrubs and trees planted nearly a century ago. Relax in the gazebo nestled below towering 100 year old Sequoia Redwood trees, the first ever planted in the Portland area.
